Questions
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one. Create it on the web while the app installs, then sign in to the app with the same email and password. Free is 300 minutes a month.
Does a bot join my meeting?
No. Tasjeel runs on your computer, and nobody has to accept a link or a permission.
Where does the audio go?
It is sent to Tasjeel to be written down and is never stored; only the text is kept.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows 11 PCs with an Intel or AMD processor, and Macs with Apple silicon or an Intel processor. The details are under Requirements and versions.
Does it update itself?
Yes. The Windows app updates itself. On a Mac, Tasjeel downloads new versions in the background and installs them when you quit it, and Settings has Check for updates. An older Mac version without it needs the latest from this page once, by hand.
How do I uninstall it?
On Windows, go to Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps, find Tasjeel and choose Uninstall. On a Mac, drag Tasjeel from Applications to the Trash.
